Dear Fellow Cougar Enthusiast,
We at John’s Classic Cougars Would like to
help you with all your Cougar needs. Thanks to you, our Valued
Customers, we are now able to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in the Cougar
business!! Without YOU, this would not be such a special milestone
for us!! THANK YOU!!!!
Realizing the need for QUALITY Cougar
parts sends us searching for only the best parts for our cars as
well as our Customer’s cars. In the quest for finding the ideal parts
for our cars, I run into the question of quality. We have chosen to
handle ONLY the best original & reproduction parts for all our Cougars.
We will offer ONLY the best parts we feel our customers will be happy
with. Please call if you have any questions concerning the parts listed
in our catalog. I will be glad to help with information on how to
install any of the parts purchased through our company. If you have any
questions or problems, please feel free to give me a call during regular
business hours.
We have been involved with cars since we were both
kids. Cars were a big part of both our lives. My Dad started restoring
Model T’s when I was a kid & the love for “old” cars began
with that. Dee has always said that motor oil runs through a Baumann’s
veins instead of blood. Maybe she is right because our kids have the
same love of vehicles as Dee and I do. We are very proud of our kids’
efforts in restoring & driving their vehicles. We have been involved
in Cougars since we bought our first ‘69 Convertible when we
were living in Texas in 1979. Our current collection includes: Dee’s
‘67 triple black DAN GURNEY SPECIAL; Dee’s ‘70 Competition Orange
XR-7 Convertible; & her black ‘95 Ford F-150 Lightning truck;
my Inverness Green XR-7 427 GT-E; ‘68 Maroon XR7-G; & ’69 F-100
pick-up. Our son Mike & his wife Jen, & little boys CJ, Garrett Michael & Wes have a
Competition Blue ‘70 ELIMINATOR; our son Dave, his wife Becky, &
their Kohl & Callie have a ‘75 Ford 4 X 4 pick-up & a '73 Bronco. Amanda &
her husband Kurt & little boys Joel, Owen, & Abel are into restoring & tractor pulls with his antique
Allis Chalmers tractors. We haven’t been able to talk Kurt into a Cougar
yet, but we will keep trying! We also have several other restorable
cars, some for sale, other are “keepers”, & 75+ parts cars.
Since we have the Cougar business and deal EXCLUSIVELY
in Cougar parts, we find it exciting, fun, & very
rewarding to be able to help other people as interested & excited
about their Cougars as we are to find their hard-to-find parts
& accessories to keep their cars in top shape. We want you to enjoy
driving your Cougars as much as we enjoy ours!
We also try to keep a large supply of good USED parts,
but since the USED & NOS parts inventories change so quickly, we
find it impossible to have a listing on these parts. Please send your
“WISH LIST” for pricing and availability on these parts. If you have
NOS parts, parts books, service manuals, or good used parts that you
would like to sell or trade, we might be willing to deal with you on
those also.
We thank you very much for your interest in our company & we look
forward to being of service to you in the near future!
Sincerely,
John & Dee Ann Baumann Serving God Daily
